Sleep peacefully — guaranteed bed bug elimination
Bed bugs (Cimex lectularius) are small, reddish-brown, wingless insects that feed exclusively on the blood of warm-blooded animals — most commonly humans. They hide in mattress seams, bed frames, headboards, cracks in furniture, behind wallpaper and in electrical outlets, coming out at night to feed.
A single pregnant female can start an infestation of thousands within a few months. Over-the-counter sprays rarely work, and DIY treatments often spread the infestation to other rooms. Insect Killer Services uses a structured IPM protocol combining thorough inspection, targeted chemical treatment, mattress-safe residual sprays and (where required) heat treatment to eliminate bed bugs at every life stage — egg, nymph and adult.
Signs of a bed bug infestation
- Itchy, red bite marks in a line or cluster, often on exposed skin (arms, neck, back)
- Tiny blood spots on sheets, pillows or mattresses
- Dark or rusty spots of bed bug excrement on bedding, mattresses or walls
- A sweet, musty odour in heavily infested rooms
- Visible shells (exuviae) or live insects in mattress seams and crevices
Our 5-step treatment process
- Inspection — visual inspection of beds, furniture, baseboards and adjoining rooms.
- Assessment — level of infestation, species confirmation and treatment plan.
- Pre-treatment prep — guidance on laundering, decluttering and mattress encasements.
- Treatment — residual spray, dust application in voids, and steam or heat treatment of infested items.
- Follow-up — second treatment after 10–14 days to catch newly hatched eggs; final inspection.
